We approach sustainability from a broad, holistic perspective and focus our efforts in areas addressed by the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals under three core pillars: People, Planet and Product.

We're doing our part to support every goal that overlaps with our operations, wherever we see an opportunity for substantial positive impact. While all the goals are important, we are focusing our efforts on goals 3-8,10,12 and 13.

Our Community Partnerships

GIVIT (Goods for good causes)
GIVIT is a national not-for-profit organisation connecting to those in need, with a particular focus on alleviating poverty and helping people in times of chrisis including bushfires and floods. Hanes donate a wide variety of product to bring comfort to vunerable Australians, which also keeps aged stock out of landfill. Since Hanes' partnership began in 2018, we've collectively donated over 2,100,000 items to people in need.

Good2give
Good2give is a not-for-profit organisation that makes it easier for businesses and employees to support the communities and causes they care about. Their innovative technology solution allows Hanes team memebrs to make one-off or regular donations from their pre-tax salary to charities of their choice, linked to HAA charity partners. Between 2020 and 2022, Hanes matched their team members donations, resulting in over $100,000 raised.

Minus18
Bonds is a proud supporting partner of Minus18, champions for LGBTQIA+ youth Australia wide. Our partnership with Minus18 helps to fund important peer-to-peer support, education and training, and safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth Australia wide. Through this partnership, Bonds are sponsering 400 LGBTQIA+ youth to attend the Queer Formal in Melbourne and Sydney, the sparkliest night of the year where LGBTQIA+ young people can be free to be their true selves.

Red Nose
Partnering with both Bonds and Sheridan, Red Nose is a non-for-profit organisation dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children and supporting bereaved families. Together, Bonds and Red Nose launched our innovative new Wondercool range, the only baby clothing approved by Red Nose for safer sleep. Every product in the Sheridan baby range has been approved for safe sleeping by Red Nose.

SleepSafe
Launched in 2019, SleepSafe is a non-profit initative by Sheridan and StreetSmart, raising much needed funds to help support those without a safe and secure place to call home. Donations to SleepSafe contribute towards a sleep kit, manufactured by our supply partners - containing a towel and sheet set. For every $15 raised, a complete sleep kit containing a towel, flat and fitted hseet and pillowcase is provided to someone in need. To date, over $1,500,000 has been raised, resulting in over 100,000 sleep kits provided to those in need.

Women's and Girl's Emergecy Centre (WAGEC)
WAGEC is a grassroots organisation striving to create a movement to end gender-based domestic violence (GBDV) through a number of pillars. Bras N Things program is designed to educate and support our teams, along with raising awareness and aducation around GBDV for the movement to gain momentum. Funds raised go towards supporting the WAGEC team to provide safe housing and opportunities for women and their children. Between 2020 ad 2022, over $80,000 has been donated.

Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA)
Berlei's partnership with Breast Cancer Network Australia dates back to 2005. Together we've donated over 180,000 My Care Kits to Australian women who've undergone breast cancer surgery and are committed to pioneering products backed by ongoing research and development, that offer support to those affected by the disease. We also support via our Annual October Pink Bras Collection where $10 from every purchase is donacted to BCNA.
